- to other parts of mainland China in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild)
- to Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild)
- in close contact with someone with confirmed coronavirus
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Call 111, stay indoors and avoid close contact with other people.
Tell 111 about any recent travel and any symptoms you have.
Please contact us now on 01254 226600 if you are due your Cervical Screening Test. We are now offering late night appointments with your Practice Nurse every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6pm -8pm.

Darwen Healthlink hosts an ultra sound clinic that runs every Monday. This service is accessible through your GP if they deem it appropriate
You may have noticed that the welcome message to the practice has been changed. The new message has our very own Dr Jesthi welcoming you to the practice and informing you that you may be asked the reason for your call. This is to enable the receptionist to navigate you to the most appropriate clinician or service. You have the right to not disclose the nature of your call but it would help us to help you.
The drop in for bloods for patients aged 16+ at the treatment room is now Monday – Friday 08:40 – 17:00 both at Darwen Health Centre and Barbara Castle Way –
No appointments are needed.
